The programme of Office Administration  is closely related with the demands of the modern business environment and provides students with solid background for successful careers in responsible administrative positions.

The programme:

  • Prepares students for office administrative employment opportunities.
  • Provides students with knowledge and understanding of the business world, the main functions of business activity and the individual’s contribution to the business organization.
  • Provides students with knowledge and understanding of the way in which a modern office works and of the various support services it provides.
  • Helps students understand the role of administration in a modern office, and of the personal and interpersonal skills required of an administrator.
  • Develops students’ practical ability and understanding of key software applications and information systems.
  • Familiarises students with a wide range of problem-solving techniques used in the business office decision-making process.
  • Equips students with the skills necessary to operate in a business environment in at least three European languages.
  • Develops students’ communication skills facilitating perception, analysis and diagnosis of business situations and enhance the required ability in tackling them.
  • Lays the foundation for possible further education of students

Advantages for holders of the Office Administration Diploma:

  • Pursue direct employment in the private or public sector
  • Acquire competence to sit for the following exams:
  • CME (Cyprus Ministry of Education)

Text Processing (English) – All levels

  • ECDL (European Computer Driving License)

Cover the key concepts of computing, its practical applications and their use in the workplace.
