Frederick Institute of Technology has applied to become the first, not-for-profit private university in Cyprus. We are expecting that the results of the evaluation process will be announced in the summer of 2007 and an initial licence for operation will be granted to Frederick University.
Within the context of this exciting development, we announce an open call for expression of interest. Academic positions are available in all the University departments, as shown below:

Academic positions are for all ranks, i.e. Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. Salaries for an academic position range between 23K to 43K CYP. The Temporary Governing Board is also happy to accept expression of interest for visiting posts in higher ranks (Associate Professor and Professor) for 1 and 2 year contracts. It is noted that the minimum requirement for any academic post is a doctorate degree in a relevant field.
