Central to the goals of higher education is the acquisition of the necessary professional skills for a successful future career. Both the Mobility and the Career Offices support Frederick Institute graduates in finding all type of work opportunities abroad.

1st Professional experience abroad through the Leonardo da Vinci Program
Frederick Institute of Technology, through the Leonardo da Vinci PLM- People in the Labour Market action gives its graduates the opportunity to work in another European country for a period of 2 to 26 weeks, having the chance to choose from a pool of reputable companies and organizations that are in close cooperation with Frederick Institute of Technology.

Through this work opportunity Frederick Institute of Technology graduates can gain practical experience in their field of study, explore another country’s work practice and improve their Curriculum Vitae.
The participating graduates reported that it was a wonderful and rewarding experience in a multicultural environment, which strengthened their knowledge, understanding and employability.

For the academic year 2013-2014, through the funding of  the Leonardo da Vinci Mobility project ‘’Job placements for Recent Graduates’’, 8 graduates from 5 different study fields will be placed in 5 host companies in 2 European countries.

Graduate work opportunities are becoming sharper and more targeted as Frederick Institute of Technology graduates realise the importance of improving their employability.

Frederick Institute of Technology Career Office, rather than solely offering a list of work opportunities, it helps graduates to develop their CVs, gain experience through internships and work placements and has links to professional development courses, summer schools, scholarships ect. Thereby fully equipping job seekers for the recruitment process that lies ahead.
