This programme of study is accredited by the Council of Educational Evaluation - Accreditation of Cyprus (SEKAP).


The course is intensive and specifically designed for those interested in a career in the beauty care industry. It provides a comprehensive, professional education in all aspects of beauty therapy including body massage, exercise, waxing, manicure, pedicure, make-up, facial treatments, body therapy, and electrolysis.

The course objectives are:

  • To develop the students knowledge of the body upon which they will render service.
  • To help students in recognizing basic skin problems in applying treatments.
  • To familiarise students with the importance of nutrition for the health condition and appearance of the skin.
  • To provide students with knowledge regarding the classification and benefits of skin care products and their use.
  • To enhance the students understanding of electricity, the various machines and equipment used as well as the safety and care procedures.

Teaching and practice is undertaken by highly professional and competent staff who support students in realising their potential in a friendly atmosphere.

The course covers the areas of dermatology, anatomy, physiology, first aid, beauty care (theory and practice), cosmetology, nutrition, electrology, public relations, physical education (theory and practice).

Along with the theoretical knowledge, students acquire practical skills including the techniques of beauty therapy by using state of the art machines and equipment.

Advantages for the holders of the Diploma in Aesthetics and Beauty Care:

  • Possess an accredited diploma.
  • Pursue direct employment at Health and Beauty Salons/Centres, TV Stations, Theatre, the Cosmetics Industry and related fields
  • Operate and manage successfully their own Health and Beauty Salons/Centres.
  • Are eligible to sit for the Cidesco International exams and obtain the Cidesco Diploma which is of international acclaim and recognition.

Aesthetics and Beauty Care Studios and Facilities
The course provides a wide range of facilities for teaching and practice. The Aesthetics and Beauty Care Studios and Facilities include:

  • Facial treatments equipment
  • Body treatments equipment (treatments of obesity, cellulite, etc)
  • Sauna room
  • Gymnastics and Health Club

Students must complete a total of 69 credit hours
