ACADEMIC
ADVISOR
We support your journeyto success
At Frederick Institute of Technology, we encourage you to go beyond knowledge, reach your full potential, and achieve your academic goals. That's why, upon enrolling in the program, you are assigned an Academic Advisor, who is responsible for providing you with academic guidance and support throughout your studies.
The Academic Advisor has an overall picture of the student's academic performance and, in this way, can guide him/her. In addition, he/she is a person with whom the student can confidentially discuss personal issues or concerns that affect his/her studies, in order to receive the necessary support or to be referred to the appropriate support services offered by the institution.
The Academic Advisor is the Coordinator of the student's study program, i.e. a person who knows both the student and his/her study program. The student will meet with the Advisor at least twice a semester during Consultation Weeks, as well as whenever he/she wishes.
